I was commissioned to make this card for a friend who had become an auntie for the first time and she wanted a nice personalised baby card but she didn't want any pink!

I have made a joy fold card with cream card, used Anna Marie designs gingham papers in green and yellow, gold card, yellow dotty ribbon from Woodware.  I added adhesive pearls on top of it which you can see if you enlarge the photo.

The pretty corners and scrolls are cut using a Cuttlebug ornate corner die. I have also added purple and white bakers twine as the washing line.  I have paper pieced the gorgeous little clothes using A digi stamp and added mini wooden pegs to add them to the washing line.

I have also decorated the card inside on all three sides but for security reasons I am not showing the inside as all Kornelias personal details are shown so its a truly personal card.

My friend loved the card and her brother said it was the nicest baby card he had ever seen!

 Card above made March 2009

Another fortnight is over and we have another challenge over at
  Our challenge this fornight is
"Are you brave enough"

We are sponsored by Di's Digi Downloads

We want you to enter our challenge with a picture of one of your older projects, maybe when you first started card making or blogging and then a new project for our challenge so we can see how talented you have all become and how much we have all learnt along the way.
This challenge should be great fun!
We would be delighted if you come and join in with this challenge HERE.
Please remember that you project must include a bear or animal on it somewhere.

I wasn't sure what order to put my cards in but decided to add my most recent first as I am quite ashamed at how basic my first card on my blog was.
It certainly shows how my style has changed over the last 3 years and its all down to blogland where I have met so many crafting friends willing to share tips, advice, new techniques etc and also from all the fantastic tutorials out there.

Here are my card details

I used Go Kreate dies to create the card base, adding patterned pink paper before cutting and scoring the stepper part and to cut and layer the image.
I made the gorgeous flowers using a Die-namics die, used a butterfly and fancy flourish die both from Cheery Lynn.
The sentiment is a clear Little Claire stamp which I mat and layered onto a Spellbinders circle and scalloped circle die cut.

I am entering this card into the following challenges

Papertake Weekly All things girly
Divas by design Anything goes

My DT card for challenge 123 over at OSAAT

Another week has passed and its time for another challenge over at One Stitch at a time.
Our challenge for this week is
 "The Olympics"

This week we are sponsored by

I found this theme very difficult as Teri, the creator I was issued,  had no sport images so I had to go down the route of the olympic ring colours and this is the card I eventually came up with.

The image I have used is called Cupcake Fairy and is by Delicious Doodles, you can find the image HERE in the Stitchy Store.

I coloured the image with the following Copic and Promarker pens, Berry Red, E31, E000, BG0000, B16, G19 and Y06.

I have also used a Cuttlebug ornate corner die and spellbinders circle and scalloped circle nestie.

We would love you to come on over and join in with our Olympic challenge HERE and can't wait to see your interpretations.
