I have made this baby pram for my friend Tina whose niece has had a baby boy. The pram and box are both made from a template by Hasslecastle http://www.hasslecastle.co.uk/ and is all made from card. The box is made from card and acetate. I have just bought the accessories pack from them and will hopefully make another pram soon when I have more time with some of the accessories that go with the pram. I have typed Tina's message onto card and then cut out with my Sizzix bottle die and tied onto the handle with some blue gingham ribbon. Thanks for looking x

Creative Inspirations and Cute Card Thursday Challenges
1 card 3 challenges
Here is my latest card which I am going to enter into three challenges this week. I followed the fun sketch at Carols Sketch Fun http://carolssketchfun.blogspot.com/
The papers are from the Daisy and dandelion A5 pad, the image is from Modern Sugar Blvd http://www.modernsugarblvd.blogspot.com/. I have only just found their website, I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and Prisma pencils. The sentiment is computer generated and cut out with my circle and scalloped circle nesties. The flower is a Flora doodle with a Prima flower in the middle finished off with a brad. The tag is punched from my Whale of a punch deckled tag punch and then stuck onto some brown card with a brad added. I am also entering this card into ABC challenge http://abc-challenge.blogspot.com/ where the theme is "Two Tone, use only 2 colours on your card" which I have done and also into Pink Elephant challenge http://thepinkelephantchallenge.blogspot.com/ where the theme this week is to use your favouite colour combo. Truly Scrumptious challenge entry
Well its lovely to see the sun out again today although its so hot we don't feel like doing anything. I am off to the Newbury craft show on Saturday, which I am really looing forward to. Hope its not too hot that dayas its always a very busy show.
Anyway onto the card I have made today for this weeks Truly Scrumptious challenge http://www.trulyscrumptiouschallenges.blogspot.com/. The theme this week was a sketch which I have followed. The image is from Whiff of Joy http://www.shop.whiffofjoy.com/ called Willow with flower basket . I have coloured her in with Promakers. The backing paper is from Basic Grey 6 x 6 Boxer pad. The flowers are Flora Doodles which I got on my craft day out on Saturday, I have also punched some stamens and used a brad to finish the flowers off nicely. The sentiment is a stamp from Cuddly Buddly http://cuddlybuddly.com/ which I have then cut out with my nesties. The corner on the top right hand side of the card is a cuttlebug die. Ouch Dragon Get Well Card
I hope everyone is having a good weekend, I went out all day to an all day crafting event run my Sonia who teaches jewellery making and cardmaking in Ferndown. We had 4 different tutors showing us how to make 4 different cards, a great day was had by all.
Here is my latest card which I am going to enter into 5 different challenges, I am getting used to combining them now as I have had less time recently to make some cards, in fact I can be quite a challenge to combine them all too.
I have made this card from a lovely sketch over at Stamps and smiles http://sasthefreshbatch.blogspot.com/ I rotated the sketch by 90 degrees. The image is from Dustin Pike http://www.dustinpike.blogspot.com/ he is called Boo Boo Dragon, I think he is soooo cute and he only costs $2.50 as a download image.
I have coloured him in with Meadow Green and Lemon Promarkers which were the required colours to use for Passion for Promarkers challenge this week http://promarkerchallenge.blogspot.com/, I coloured his plasters with pastel beige, I think this is allowed as main image is in the required colours, they wouldn't have looked right in meadow green or lemon. I have cut the image out with an oval nesite and backed this onto a scalloped oval nestie. I have run some scrap pieces of green and lemon coloured card through my cuttlebug swiss dots and distressed embossing folders and printed the sentiment and cut out with circle and scalloped circle nesties, (It was a requirement to use scrap pieces and a digi image) to enter Digital Tuesdays http://digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/ challenge. I am also entering the card into Papertake weekly's challenge http://papertakeweekly.blogspot.com/ which this weeks required element was to use a digi stamp and also into Charisma Cardz http://www.charismacardz.blogspot.com/ The theme this week being any theme, any style. I am now going to enjoy the rest of the weekend with this beautiful weather we are having. Thanks for looking x

Yippee I won some more blog candy and a card I have made for Connor
Yippee I was lucky enough to win some more blog candy during the Simon says stamp blog hop http://simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.com/ which was really fantastic, some great projects and cards. I won the candy on Iris's blog http://iriswelt.blogspot.com/, thank you Iris. I won a set of Turtle stamps which are really cute, I was really pleased as I couldn't resist ordering the frog set which I can't wait to receive, and I think the two will go well together.
Onto the card above. I have made this card for Connor as it will be his 13th birthday soon. I have followed this weeks Mojo Monday sketch, the image is a Penny Black stamp called 2453K Cool Friends which I have coloured in with my Promarkers. I have embossed the top section of card with the swiss dots Cuttlebug folder and the bottom card with the bubbles Cuttlebug folder. I have cut out the image with my nesties and added number 13 and some silver peel off stars on the square. The other stars on the card are cut from an Impress Die. My local The Range Store in Bournemouth are selling all their Impress items at just £1.99 each even including the dies that were previously £12.99 so a real bargain. The bow is made from blue, white and red tartan ribbon from Hobbycraft.
I am entering the folllowing challenges with this card
1/ Penny Black http://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/ where the theme was embossing as I have used a Penny Black stamp and dry embossed the card.
2/ One stop craft http://onestopcraftchallenge.blogspot.com/ where the theme was Numbers
as I have a number on the card
3/ Stamptacular Sunday http://stamptacularsundaychallenge.blogspot.com/ where the theme was red, white and blue and a star too, as I have used the correct colours and there are 7 stars on my card
4/ Mojo Monday http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/ as I have followed their sketch for this week.

And into Scrappy frogs http://scrappyfrogschallenge.blogspot.com/2009/06/challenge-7-arrrgh.html as I have used the stated download.
The card base has been made as per the tutorial. I then printed off the freebie downloads from the Dustin Pike website http://dustinpike.blogspot.com/, yes these images were all free and its a fantastic blog, thank you Dustin for your generosity with sharing these free images, the DT cards are amazing. I coloured them all in with my Prisma Pencils and stuck the bits on with 3d foam squares and thats all there was to it, although it took me quite some time to colour the images all in. I am really pleased with the result with it being my first. Thanks for looking x

A lucky week for me plus one card for 6 challenges this week
I have had a lot of luck this week, I won the our creative corner challenge and two lots of blog candy, 1 from Donna http://cardsformen.blogspot.com/2009/06/100th-visitor-candy.html, thank you Donna, (I received it today) and the other from Ruth http://tiptoptoppers.blogspot.com/2009/05/more-blog-candy.html, thank you Ruth, can't wait for it to arrive. I am really chuffed as I hadn't won any befor.
I am also lucky with the way the challenges have worked out this week as I am very short of time at the moment but have managed to make the above card which I can include in 6 challenges. I don't think I have ever combined any challenges before this week but have been able to this week.
I am entering this card into the following challenges
Challenge 1 - Friday Sketchers challenge http://fridaysketchersblog.blogspot.com/ which was to follow a nice sketch.
Challenge 2 - Just Magnolia http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/ where the theme was Paper Piecing which I had never done before
Challenge 3 - ABC http://abc-challenge.blogspot.com/ where the theme was Summer
Challenge 4 - Scrappy frogs http://scrappyfrogschallenge.blogspot.com/ where the theme was something summery
Challenge 5 - Creative Inspirations http://cinspirations.blogspot.com/ where the theme was paper piecing
Challenge 6 - Roses on Paper http://ropchallenge.blogspot.com/ where the theme was to combine your card with another challenge and to use flowers
The card has been made using the Friday Sketchers sketch which can be found here http://fridaysketchersblog.blogspot.com/
The backing paper is by Craft Creations Ltd and is called Pink Meadow Stripes, the image is a new Magnolia stamp I bought which I received in the post yesterday, I think its really cute, its called Tilda in the Sea.
I hadn't ever paper pieced before so this is my first attempt. I have paper pieced her dress and hat using Papermania paper and coloured the rest of the image in with my Promarkers which I have then cut out with an oval nestie and a scalloped nestie to back it onto.
I have run the backing card pieces (on the left) through a swiss dots cuttlebug folder and the darker pink through the embossing folder with the birds on it (I can't remember the name of it at the moment- sorry). The flowers I have made from 2 sizes of X-cut Daisy punch and a small sun punch and finished off with a peel off in the centre. I have used gold stripe peel offs around the edges of the backing paper as well and the cream ribbon was from hobbycraft.
I thought this was a nice summery card and I enjoyed the paper piecing and will definitely haver another go at it, a very simple technique which adds a new dimension. Thanks for looking x
Amended to add I am also going to enter this card for the Guest DT call for Belles n Whistles Blog http://ropchallenge.blogspot.com/2009/06/guest-dt-call.html

Another Card - Another 3 Challenges
Well as I said beforeI am quite short of spare time this week as a couple of people have asked me to make cards for them at short notice and I am rushing about getting my son to exams and back but I wanted to enter some more challenges and have managed to get another card done that I am going to enter 3 challenges with.
Over at Stamp Something http://stampchallenges.blogspot.com/ this weeks challenge was to follow a sketch and this is the card I came up with. I thought it was a very nice layout.
Over at Stamptacular Sunday http://stamptacularsundaychallenge.blogspot.com/ the theme this week is Fabulous Fathers so as this is a Fathers Day card I can enter this into their challenge as well.
I am also entering it into Creative Inspirations http://cinspirations.blogspot.com/ challenge as their theme this week is to use 4 different papers on your card which I have done.
The image is from the Daisy and Dandelion range of clear stamps, coloured in with Promarkers which I have stuck down with 3d foam. The four different papers are from the CSSR and Daisy and Dandelion range of papers. The blue spotty bow is made from ribbon from Hobbycraft. The sentiment I have done on my laptop and then cut out with my nesties. Thanks for looking x
One Card - 3 Challenges
Hi everyone, I hope you have all had a good weekend enjoying the fantastic weather we are having at the moment.
I have a busy week ahead so I have made this one card for three different challenges. Passion for Promarkers http://promarkerchallenge.blogspot.com/ challenge this week is to use the colours Cinnamon and Pumpkin. They both have to be on the main part of the image. I have also used Apple for the leaves and Ivory for the skin and pastel pink on her lips and stickles on her wings and over the cinnamon colour on the middle of the flowers.
Over at Dare to Digistamp http://dareu2digistamp.blogspot.com/ the challenge was Chocolate and Orange which was fantastic as they are both similar in colour to the pumpkin and cinnamon Promarkers and you also have to use a digi stamp, the digi image was a freebie called Tara from Victoria Case stamps http://victoriacasestamps.blogspot.com/, thank you for your generosity Victoria, I think she is beautiful.
I have also followed the sketch set by Inspirational Card Sketches http://icsketches.blogspot.com/ as it looked a very nice sketch, I am sure I shall use this layout again at some point.
The card used is from Coredinations 6 x 6 card pad. I have run it through my Cuttlebug D'vine swirls embossing folder to add some more texture. The flower is made from 3 Prima Esprits with a brad in the middle. The tag is cut with my Whale of a punch deckled tag punch which I have then stuck onto some brown card and stuck a peel off on it and small brad. The dots are gold peel offs coloured with orange peel off marker. Thanks for looking x

Stamptacular challenge - One for the boys
Ok so I had a bit of spare time this afternoon and I have made another card for another challlenge. This week at Stamptacular Sunday challenge blog http://stamptacularsundaychallenge.blogspot.com the theme is "One for the boys". As Fathers Day is coming up I have made this card for Tony, my Father in Law. I have chosen three of his favourite past times for the card, drinking beer, playing golf and sitting down and relaxing.
The card is called a TriShutter card. The instructions can be found on a previous Trishutter card post on my blog, but if you can't find it give me a shout and I can email it to you. It looks complicated but is very easy to do so if you haven't tried one before give it a go.
The backing papers are from Dovecrafts Masculine 6 x 6 paper pack. The images are digi stamps that I came across last night available from Digistamp boutique http://www.digistampboutique.co.uk/catalog/ they are called Jim playing golf, Jim with beer and Jim relaxing and they cost 99p each or £1.99 for three. I bought both collections on offer as I am going to make my dad one of these too but with different images. I have coloured the Digistamps in with my Promarkers. I have printed the letters onto card and cut out with a punch I have then stuck on with 3d foam. The buttons are from the 99p shop which I have tied a little piece of ribbon through. I hope he likes it. Thanks for looking x
Amended to add the link for Trishutter folded card http://craftiblog.wordpress.com/2009/04/23/2009-04-23-quad-fold-card-sample-tutorial/

Sentiment was done on my laptop and then cut out with my nesties. Thanks for looking x

A Spoonful of sugar and Passion for Promarkers Challenges
This weeks challenge at A spoonful of sugars blog http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/ was to follow a lovely sketch and on the Passion for Promarkers blog http://promarkerchallenge.blogspot.com/ was to use the colours Apple and Pastel Pink so as Passion for promarkers have now said challenges can be combined I have come up with this card. I must admit this is the first time ever that I have combined challenges as its not always obvious which ones allow to you and which ones don't.
On to the card details, this lovely image is my new stamp by Sugar Nellie called Daisy, isn't she lovely, she has obviously been coloured in with Apple and Pastel pink promarkers on the most of main image, I have also used Ivory for her skin and a mixture of colours for her hair which is allowed (its just the main part of image that you need to use the two specified colours for)
After colouring her I cut out with my nesties and stuck onto card with 3D foam pads. The backing paper is DCWV, the scalloped edge has been cut using my Threading water punch by Fiskars. The circle has been cut with a scalloped nestabilitie die. The swirls have been cut using a sizzlit die called swirls, the tag has been punched using Whale of a punch deckled tag punch and the daisys have been cut using 2 sizes of X-cut punches and silver peel offs. Thanks for looking x

Here is the card I have made to enter challenge 4 which was to follow a sketch. It is my hubbys Uncle Jim's birthday today and he is a retired teacher hence the image. The image is from George at work digital download by Charmed cards and crafts http://www.charmedcardsandcrafts.co.uk.
I have coloured George in with my Promarkers and edged the image card and tie paper with gold peel offs. The tie backing paper is from Dovecraft if I remember correctly. Sentiment has been printed and cut out with my nesties. Thanks for looking x

This is the card I have made to enter the new blog http://nutcrafters-nutshells.blogspot.com/2009/05/design-team-call.html#comments DT call.
They have kindly allowed anyone wanting to enter the DT call to download this free image (isn't she lovely) and together with a sketch to design a card.
The image is obviously from http://nutcrafters-nutshells.blogspot.com/2009/05/design-team-call.html#comments , which I have coloured with Marvey le Plume Pens and then put glossy accents on top to make her shine, backing papers are by CSSR, black backing card has been run through my bigshot in the cuttlebug D'vine swirls embossing folder, the flowers are Primas with Papermania brads in the middle. The swirls are from my Sizzix Bigz die, Square gems on the right of the card are from Hobbycraft. The tag has been cut with my Whale of a punch deckled tag punch. My first bookatrix card I have made in a long time
I have been busy making this bookatrix card yesterday and finishing it off today, its the first one I have made for a very long time. My Stepmum asked me to make it for their friend Annie who runs their local Cafe/Bar in their French village Brie sous Mortagne. Annie doesn't speak any english apart from the word "chicken" hence the greeting being in French. I must say I really admire my Dad and Stepmum for going out to France to live 5 years ago and going to live in a village where no one speaks english, forcing them to learn the lingo, they are doing a very good job of that and have fitted in very well. I hope Annie likes it, thanks for looking x
