MY DT Project for Pennys Photo Inspiration Challenge

Here is my DT project for our challenge over at Pennys. Our theme this week is to use the following Photo for inspiration

The lovely image I have used is called Soho and is by Kenny K's which I have coloured with the following Copics, R27, C7, E000, E27, E53, E55, E57.

I have made a box from black card which measures 4 x 4 and is 1 inch in height. The paper I have used is from a 6 x 6 paper pad by Papermania called Creative Tones in antique white and after cutting them to size I edged them with gold fine line peel offs before sticking to the box.

I have used my Scalloped circle and plain circle nesties to cut the image and the red layer underneath which I mounted onto the box with 3d foam pads.

MY DT card for OSAAT challenge 102 Spring/Easter

Here is my DT card for our Spring/Easter challenge over at OSAAT this week. Our sponsor this week is

I was given the Pansy Corner image to use this week which is by Teri of Delicious Doodles, As I was only given the corners to have a play with I have also used another image by Sans Design which I thought would be good for the spring theme. I have coloured the image and the Pansy Corners with the following Copics, G0000, G03, V15, BV11, Y00, Y08, YR21 and added a gold dot in the centre of each pansy.

I have used Purple gingham paper which I have edged with gold fine line peel offs, purple card for the scalloped circle, gold dot peel offs in each scallop and attached the corners and the centre image with Pinflair glue gel.

My DT Mailbox Project for OSAAT challenge 101 Digi or don't

Here is my DT project for Challenge 101 - Digi or don't over at One stitch at a time. I have just used Digi paper for this project, no image. The digi paper I have used is from Panda Bear Designs and is from a collection called Chocolate Valentine 2 which is available HERE.

I have seen lots of these American style mailboxes in blogland and came across a fantastic tutorial HERE which I followed to make mine.

The butterflies have been die cut with my new Cheery Lynn butterflies set, there are three different ones and they are all gorgeous. I have used Memory box's Locina buckle die for the pretty ribbon buckle on both sides of the box and the ribbon is from a Smirk spool.

I have also used 2 eyelets to feed the ribbon through to hold the flap closed and an eyelet so the post box sign can be moved.

My DT card for Pennys Anything goes challenge 73

Here is my DT card for our Anything Goes challenge over at Pennys this week, its a nice easy theme so why not hop over and enter our challenge HERE

I have used an image by our lovely sponsor this week Stitchy Bear Stamps.


This beautiful image is called Who Me and is available HERE. I have coloured her with the following Copics E000, E40, RV00, RV11, B0000, G0000 and then added irridescent glitter to her wings so they sparkle.

The style of card I have made (for anyone that doesn't already know) is called a joy fold card, there are many tutorials online for making them if you haven't made one before. The papers I have used are from a 6 x 6 pad called Wild Blossoms collection by Pink Petticoat which I edged with fine line silver peel offs.

I have added some pink spotty organza ribbon from Woodware to finish the card off and to tie it together.

The image I have used is called Best Friends 2 by Sylvies stamps which is available HERE. I have used the following Copics to colour E000, E42, E53, E55, R000, R12, R20, R30, BG0000, B41

The pretty 6 x 6 paper I have used was in a pack I bought at a show last year and the embossing on the black card has been done with my new Couture Creations Constellations embossing folder. I have also used a circle and scalloped circle nestie, Marianne Designs leaf die, flower punches to make the ivory flowers, Spellbinders label die, some mirri card candi from Craftwork Cards and a With Love peel off.

I started by making a heart shaped easel card with my nesties. I printed off some red hearts on white background paper from a Pink Petticoat download and cut using nesties ans stuck to the card. I printed off the words With buckets of love in red and cut using nesties again.

The wonderful image is from Lili of the Valley and is called Buckets of love which I coloured with the following Copics and Promarkers, BG0000, E40, E34, E42, Y00 and Poppy. I added a red spotty bow and a couple of die cut red hearts to finish the card off.
