My DT card and easter treat container for Pennys Easter Challenge

Here is my project for our challenge over at Pennys this week, our theme is EASTER so why not get some easter cards made and enter out challenge HERE.

The image is called The Bunny Suit and is from one of our sponsors Digi my world.

We are sponsored by the following companies this week

Limited Runs

Digi my world

and

Digi Darla

I have coloured the image with the following Copic Pens, E000, E31, E34, E50, B000, R20, G21, Y000, Y00. I also added some faux stitching with a Marvy Le Plume pen in Bubble gum pink.

I have made the base card using a Martha Stewart die with pearlescent pink card. The pretty pink paper is from a Papermania 6 x 6 easter paper pad which I mat and layered onto light blue card before sticking to base of card.

The circle sentiment was a freebie from Sans Design which I cut with my Spellbinder circle die and matted onto a scalloped circle, also cut using spellbinders. I have attached to the base with 3d foam pads so it is raised up and acts as a stopper.

I have also made an easter treat container using a fab tutorial on Jo's blog. She has made hers like a carrot which looks amazing and there is a video to show you how its done. I had to dig out my ribbler from the bottom of one of my drawers as I have hardly ever used it, but it makes a big difference to the end result.

I am entering this project into the following challenges

Wow another award for my blog

I was recently given this lovely award by Judy. Thank you so much Judy for nominating me as one of your 5 crafters, it was very unexpected but really appreciated. If you haven't already come across Judys fantastic blog click HERE

Here is what it is all about..

The Liebster Award is given to smaller bloggers who have 200 or less followers in the hope it will bring them new followers and friends.
The tradition is that it is then passed on to five other blogs to help them too.
If you want to accept the award the steps are:

1. Link back to the persons blog who gave you the award and thank them.
2. Post the award on your blog.
3. Give the award to five fellow bloggers who inspire you.
4. Leave a comment on their blogs to let them know.

So I now need to nominate 5 other bloggers for this award and here are the people I have chosen

Courtney
Mags
Rayna
Stacy
Miss Sue

It was a very difficult decision as there are so many talented crafters out there

Thank you for the award and thank you to everyone that follows me too

MY DT project for OSAAT challenge 103 Reuse/Recycle

Here is my DT project for our challenge over at OSAAT this week. Our theme is to reuse or recycle something.

We are sponsored this week by Creative Craft World

so why not hop on over HERE to join in the fun.

I have reused a plain white box that my daughter received some jewellery in and thought it was a perfect size for a box to put some cookies in and it was perfect for the image I have used this week. Its called Baked with love by Digi Blessings and is available HERE.

The set has the image and 2 sentiments, one says "Baked with love" and the other one says "Many people have eaten my cooking & gone on to lead normal lives". I have coloured the image with the following Copics, BG0000, E41, E42, E43, E57 and Y21.

The paper I have used is from a 6 x 6 pad called Tea House by Dovecraft. I cut the paper to size and edged with gold fine line peel offs before sticking on the box. I cut the image and the scalloped circle it is stuck to with my circle and scalloped circle nesties. I have added the sentiment to the front of the box and the "baked with love sentiment" on both sides of the box too.

I am entering this box into the following challenges
