I started by making a heart shaped easel card with my nesties. I printed off some red hearts on white background paper from a Pink Petticoat download and cut using nesties ans stuck to the card. I printed off the words With buckets of love in red and cut using nesties again.

The wonderful image is from Lili of the Valley and is called Buckets of love which I coloured with the following Copics and Promarkers, BG0000, E40, E34, E42, Y00 and Poppy. I added a red spotty bow and a couple of die cut red hearts to finish the card off.

My DT project for One stitch at a time challenge 97 - Round and round

This is my DT project for our challenge this week over at One stitch at a time The theme this week is round and round.

We are very lucky to be sponsored by two kind sponsors this week

have donated a £10 store voucher

have donated 3 Promarkers

so why not hop over HERE to join in the fun

I have taken 4 photos so you can see each image but the card has 6 images on one side and six on the other side.

I chose Stitchy stamps twelve days of christmas digi images available HERE to use for this theme as I thought the images would be perfect for using with circles and scalloped circles. Each image has been coloured using my Copics. The set of twelve images is half price at the moment so if you are interested in the set I recommend getting them now.

I first cut 6 scalloped circles in both red and green card and then six normal circles in both colours. I stuck the green circles onto the red scalloped circles and the red circles onto the green scalloped circles. I cut some gold ribbon to attach a circles to each other after alternating the colours of the circles and put the ribbon on the back the first 6 circles and then attached the next 6 circles to the back of the first ones to hide the back so you can't see where the ribbon was attached.

The finished 12 circles all fold up on top of each other to make a very neat pile. I will make a box to put this pull out card into before giving it to someone next christmas.

My DT card for Pennys Buttons and Ribbon Challenge

Here is my DT card for our challenge over at Pennys. This week the challenge is to use buttons and ribbon, why not hop over HERE to join in.

My base card is from Craftwork cards, I love these on the edge cards, the points are perfect for adding buttons and card candi to.

The image I was given to play with this week is called April Showers and is by Stamp Fairy. We have Bugaboo and Stamp Fairy sponsoring us this week. I have use the following Copics E000, E42, G000, BG11, BG09 and YG17 to colour.

The backing papers, buttons and ribbons are from a Nitwits Collection called Puddle Jumpin. I have added Anitas glitteration lines around the papers and glitteration dots on the scallops of the main image.

To finish it off I have added Glossy Accents to the puddle and raindrops so they look wet and shiny. I added the buttons with Pinflair glue gel to raise from the card and 3d foam pads to stick the image and sentiment to the card.

My DT card for One stitch at a time challenge 96

Here is my DT card for challenge 96 over at One stitch at a time, our theme this week is Anything goes, a nice easy one so hop over HERE to join in the fun. We are sponsored this week by Stitchy Bear Stamps

The image I have used is called Hang in there by Digi Blessings and is available HERE. I have coloured the image with the following Copic colours, C3, E31, E33, E35, E42, E43, E25 and E39. I then cut the image out with a circle nestie and layered onto a scalloped circle in pearlescent brown.

I used a shaped card blank by Craftwork Cards, I think they are called "On the edge, scalloped edge". I decorated it with the fancy scalloped edge down the bottom instead of on the side.

I have used the same pearlescent brown card for the other decorations, the fancy corners are cut using a Cuttlebug die, I have used a Martha Stewart punch on both sides of a piece of the brown card and wrapped some brown ribbon with white dots on around the centre of it before attaching to the card. I then added the image using 3d foam pads.

I added the sentiment "Hang in there" below the image.

I have added some Craftwork cards card candi and the scrolls on the scalloped edge of the card to finish it off.
