A French Card

My stepmum Brenda (who lives in France) asked me if I could make a couple of cards for some French friends of theirs, Annie and Andre with a French theme. In France they do not give each other cards so I think this is a nice idea to show them what we do for birthdays etc.

I have used red white and blue colour card which are the colours of the UK and French Flags to add a French/UK feel. The image of the Eiffel tower is an Art-Kure rubber stamp and the chic french lady is a Clarity clear stamp. I have used the masking technique so the lady looks like she is in front of the tower and I have also masked her dress and hat to give it a pattern using a corner stamp.

I have left it black as I thought it looked nicer that way. I then used my Punch around the page double loops Martha Stewart punches around the edge and matted onto blue card and then onto my base card.
I have cut out the name Annie with my Cuttlebug Olivia alphabet and stuck the letters down with double sided tape.

I will be entering this card into the following challenges

A wedding card made for my friend Rachel

Here is a wedding bookatrix card I was asked to make for my friend Rachel's friends whose wedding colour scheme is lettuce.
I have used my Bookatrix embossing board and used 3 pieces of card. I then put gold peel offs around the edges of both green pages, added some ivory roses to the corners and on top of the centre green ribbon. The grooms suit and wedding dress are both made from mulberry paper that I have a good supply of at the moment. I have stuck them onto a gold heart cut from gold card using my Sizzix die.
I have printed the message requested in gold lettering on my Mac and then edged with gold line peel offs and stuck onto the right hand side of the card.

I am entering this card into the following challenges

A spoonful of sugar Celebrations
Die cut dreams Words, no stamped images

I'm Back - A card at last

Sorry for not posting anything in the last 10 days or so. My hubby Barry has been off work and we have been out most days as we were lucky with the weather so no time for crafting.
I have managed to make a card today though. It was a card someone commissioned me to make for their friends.
The base card is cream, the ribbon is called Antique and is cream and I have tied a double bow and attached this to the ribbon.
The mulberry wedding cake is something I bought ages ago in a pack. I have cut a gold heart out with my Sizzix heart die. The other items are peeloffs that I have matted onto cream card and cut around. I have attached to the base card with 3d foam pads. I have also used 2 fine line border peel offs down the right hand side.
I have printed the text in gold colour.
I will be entering this card into the following challenges

Tri shutter birthday card for my Mum

Here is a Tri shutter card I made for my Mums birthday which is today, Happy Birthday Mum.

I covered the Tri shutter card with patterned paper from a papermania 12 x2 12 pad called Temptations. I have never doine a Trishutter card with the centre cut out to create ovals, I think this look is quite different. The image is a Lili of the valley rubber stamp which I have coloured with Promarkers. I have decoupaged the balloons so there are three layers although you can't see this so well in the photo. I have used 3d foam to stick the image to the card and the flowers which are Flora Doodles, which have been at the bottom of my craft stash for ages, have been stuck on with Pinflair glue gel.
