My DT card for Pennys Challenges


Here is my DT card for our new challenge over at Pennys Challenges

 Our theme for this week is
Use your favourite colour
 I am sure most of you are aware by now that my favourite colour is Purple

The gorgeous image is by StampArt Design

Its called Little Bear Luv u which I coloured with the following Copics E42, R20, V01, V12 AND V15, the sentiment is also from StampArt Design

I haven't made a DL card for ages so decided to make one for this challenge and thought I would go down the CAS route

I mat and layered the image and sentiment onto purple paper, printed off some purple gingham paper from a Pink Petticoat download and also mat and layered onto purple paper, added some gingham ribbon and bow before sticking to the blank DL card so the ribbon ends were hidden

My DT card for Digi Darla's challenge 51

Its time for our new challenge over at
 and our theme for this week is 

Make it masculine

Its always handy to have a masculine card ready to send especially as so many crafters struggle a bit with making cards for males, the team have come up with some wonderful cards to inspire you and get you started 
Don't forget to come and link your masculine cards to our Challenge linky

 
Here are the details of my card

This type of card is called an upright Z fold, as you can see a brad at the top of the card holds the card in place but the handy thing is that it can be folded down to go in the post

I have used this lovely image by Digi Darla, its called "Sick boy in bed" and is available HERE in the digi store, the sentiment is also available there too
I used Copic pens to colour

I have printed off two sheets of gingham paper, both available at Pink Petticoat and mat and layered onto brown and blue paper

I have also used 
A Martha Stewart punch, Memory Box's Latchette Border die, Memory Box buttons die, circle die and a brad in the middle of the blue circle that holds the card upright, gingham ribbon and blue and white twine threaded through the buttons and tied into a knot

My second post for Forever Friends Bear Challenge

 

Here is my second post for Forever Friends challenge this fortnight to encourage more entries using these gorgeous bears

I made these baby dresser cards to fit into our theme of 
Bears
using pink and blue gingham paper from a Pink Petticoat download and also the blue and pink spotty paper I used on the drawers were also from a Pink Petticoat download

I have also used oval and scalloped oval nesties for the Baby Boy and Baby Girl wording added on the right hand side, circle and scalloped circle nesties and a labels die to cut out the piece at the bottom on the left hand side to give it the dresser look 

I have also used pink and blue gingham ribbon, bows and Craftwork Cards Card Candi

My DT card for Pennys Anything Goes challenge 115

 

Here is my DT card for our new challenge over at Pennys Challenges

Our theme for this week is 
Anything goes

The DT have come up with some lovely cards

I have made my stepper card by scoring a piece of card measuring 51/2 by 12 inches
at 11/2, 3, 5, 7 and 91/2
and then used some pretty heart paper and red paper to mat and layer the steps.

The gorgeous image I have used is called Benson With Love


which I coloured using Copics

I have also used some die cut hearts and a die cut on the middle step, a freebie round digi sentiment and some red heart ribbon and of course my spellbinders circle and scalloped circle nesties to mat and layer the image and sentiment.

My DT card for our new challenge at Digi Darla

 

Its Monday and now time for our new challenge over at Digi Darla Challenges
Our theme for this week is
Food for thought
You must use a food image AND sentiment

Here are the details for my card

The images I chose to work with this week are
Digi Darlas Cake topped with strawberries and sweet strawberries images
which are both available in the store HERE

The sentiment which says 
"All you need is love
but some chocolate doesn't hurt"
which was a freebie digi from
Moa Pyssel

I have coloured the images with Copics

I have used two patterned papers, one by Pink Petticoat called flourishes (in cafe creme) and the other by Nitwit Collections in the So Berry collection, brown paper to mat and layer, my circle and scalloped circle nesties to cut and layer the image and some red ribbon and some beige spotty ribbon through the tag.

The image I have used on both cards is called Baby Bears Blocks, isn't it cute, the image is available in the Fairy Dust Crafts Store
I have coloured the images with Copics

The Gingham and spotty papers are from Pink Petticoat downloads, the drawer knobs are actually pieces of Craftwork Card Candi. I have then printed off some rabbits and babygro's to stick out of the drawers.

I have also used some gingham ribbon and a bow on each card
I have also used my oval and scalloped oval nesties to add the Baby Boy and Baby Girl wording to the front and a Spellbinders labels die to cut the piece out on the left hand side to make it look like a chest of drawers

I have made this easel card with a Crealies in shape no7 template as I love this shape

The image is from Bugaboo Stamps and is called Edward Present which I coloured with Copics

I have also used grey gingham paper from a Pink Petticoat download pack, some grey perlescent paper to mat and layer, some red and white gingham ribbon, a button die from Memory Box with grey and white twine threaded through the die cut buttons and a Spellbinders die to mat and layer the sentiment which was a freebie from Tidbits which came in 3 seperate images but I added them altogether
