My DT card for One stitch at a time challenge 86

Here is my DT card for our new challenge over at One stitch at a time Our theme this week is Christmas, a nice easy one to help you get started on your christmas cards if you haven't started them yet like me!

The image I have used is called Frosty the snowman by Delicious Doodles and is available HERE I have used the following Copics to colour Y26, B000, B05, R02 and E31.

I have made an easel card by using a piece of card 29cm by 14.5 cm and folded in half and then in half again on the top layer. I then cut some blue card to size to fit the base layer and the front panel and then stuck some blue snowflakes patterned paper from a Nitwit Collection called Snow Folk onto the blue card.

I punched a strip of blue card on both sides with my Martha Stewart my punch and stuck to the base layer and then stamped the sentiment which is a clear stamp from Lili of the valley and mat and layered that sentiment circle onto a scalloped blue circle.

I punched the edge of the image with my Martha Stewart Snowflake punch and stuck onto blue card and glued the punched out snowflakes onto the image which has created a nice effect.

My DT card for Pennys Happy Halloween challenge

Here is my DT card for Penny's Happy Halloween challenge this week, we are sponsored this week by Digi Darla

and Robyns Fetish

so why not join in with our challenge HERE

This is the image by Digi Darla that I have been given to play with this week which I coloured with Copics.

I started off with 2 ready made scalloped cards 7 x 5 inch in size and cut one in half to make 2 easel cards out of the 2 card blanks. I then embossed some pearlescent brown paper with a Craft Concept embossing folder.

I mat and layered the image onto some gold card and then stuck onto the brown pearlescent embossed paper and stuck to the card with 3d foam pads. I then punched 6 leaves with a Woodware punch and embossed some veins into them before sticking them to the card with 3d foam pads.

For the easel stopper I have just used some gold and brown card mat and layered, added Happy Halloween in gold print and added some more gold leaves .

I have also added fine line gold peel offs around the edges of the brown embossed paper and some little bits of peel offs into each scallop.

I am entering this card into the following challenges

My DT card for One stitch at a time Challenge 85

Here is my DT card for our challenge over at One stitch at a time Our challenge this week is Embossing so why not hop over HERE and join in. We are sponsored this week by Stitchy Bear Stamps.

I started my choosing my coloured card, I thought this shade of blue went really well with the brown. I cut it to size to fit the base and and ran the blue card through my big shot in a Creative Expressions embossing folder called Flourish and then the brown with another Creative Expressions folder called Lattice and then stuck to the card. I then added a piece of gold card which has been embossed again with an embossing folder, this time by Papermania called Tasty trims to hide the join.

The beautiful image I got to use this week is called Brat and its by Beary Dust stamps and is available here in the shop I have used Copics to colour her. I then mat and layered onto the same colour card I used for the embossing and then added 3 gold circles on the top right hand side.

My DT card for One stitch at a time challenge 84

Here is my DT card for our challenge over at One Stitch at a time Come on over and join in the fun.
We are sponsored this week by

and the prize is a £10 voucher so what are you waiting for.

I saw a similar style card to this when leaving a comment on last weeks entries, I have tried to find the link to the crafters blog but am having trouble finding it again, but I thought I would try and do something in the same style.

I started by punching some strips of red card with my Martha Stewart snowflake punch and then added some green snowflake paper from Nitwit Collections called Joyful hearts to it adding some Anitas glitterations where they joined and a glitteration dot to the top and bottom of the green paper.

I got some more red card and cut to 10.5 x 28 cm and scored at 14cm. I then added the 2 strips on each side by using double sided tape to the back of the 10.5 x 14 card and then stuck a piece of 10.5 x 14 over the back to hide where I have joined the strips.

I then decorated the front by adding some green snowflake paper to the front and edged with glitterations then added some red card on top.

Next I printed off the digi image by Stitchy Stamps which can be found HERE Its called Dear Mr Claus, aren't those penguins cute!!
I coloured the image in with the following Copics. C7, E40, R27, C00, YR21, G82 and then added some glitterations round the edge and added some polar white Flower Soft to the penguins xmas hats. I stuck the image on the card with 3d foam pads.

I printed the freebie ticket sentiment from Cuddly Buddly onto red card and cut around it before sticking with 3d foam pad to the card.

I have decorated the inside of the card with the green snowflake paper and using my nesties labels 16 dies cut a white label and a red one and matted and layered onto the green paper.

I am entering this card into the following challenges
