My DT card for Digi Darla

 

Here is my DT card for our new challenge over at Digi Darla

Our theme for you this week is 

Fancy Folds

I made a stepper card covered in acetate

The image I have used is called Ballet Beauty which has been coloured with Copics and then mat and layered onto silver mirri

Its available in the Digi Darla store HERE

The paper I have used is from a Nitwits Collection, its called Tippy toes, mat and layered onto silver mirri card, the ballet shoes and Tutus are also from the same collection

I added a pearl in the centre of the flowers on the front, card candi in the centre of the flowers on the first step and added a tutu and ballet shoes to the last step

On the top of the acetate I added some of the same papers and mirri card, ballet shoes and a ribbon and a tutu which I stuck onto a hand made silver wire coat hanger and added a ribbon on top of that too

My DT Card for Fashionista

Here is my DT card to remind you of our challenge over at Fashionista Challenges 

Our theme for you this month is 

Terrific Tilda

 We are sponsored by

I decided to make a stepper card using these 2 adorable stamp images, which I coloured with Copics

I covered the left half in rain drop paper and the right hand side with a  nice sunny yellow flower paper before scoring to make the steps

I have added acetate over the entire card and added the same paper/card over the spine and at the bottom to cover the tape which attached the acetate

The lovely sentiment "I am always here for you rain or shine" was stuck onto some silver mirri card and attached to the card,  I also added some colour co-ordinated Craftwork Cards card candi on both sides at the bottom of the card 

I attached a sweet little umbrella charm with some blue and white bakers twine and stuck a blue bow on top and added a butterly charm using yellow and white bakers twine and and a yellow flower with some card candi in the centre and some pearls down both sides of the acetate

I have shaped the two Tilda images before sticking to the centre step with Pinflair to keep the 3D shape and finished off the card with some white spotty ribbon and a big bow in the centre

Lacy Sunshine are having a fantastic birthday celebration yippee!! and I am GDT for them

Woo hoo I am guest designer over at Lacy Sunshine challenges 

I recently found the Lacy Sunshine challenge blog and digi shop, Heather is an AMAZING artist and I have fallen in love with all her images

I entered a recent challenge and was picked by Heather to guest design for her Birthday celebrations 

I still can't quite believe it 

Thank you so much Heather for giving me the opportunity to work with such a gorgeous image and 

be part of your birthday celebrations, I feel really honoured

Here is the card I made using Eleanor and Pickles Jammin Drums, how cute are they!!

I coloured the image using my Copic pens and then Mat and layered on an octagon and scalloped octagon die cut, adding silver peel offs to each scallop

I made the shaped stepper card using a Go Kreate die, adding the beautiful sparkly paper before cutting and scoring to make the stepper part

The flourishes and butterfly are both cut using Cheery Lynn dies

The daisy flowers have been made using Die-namics dies with Craftwork cards card candi in the centre, the muscial notes are also Die-namic dies

I have added a very light blue feather and a double ribbon bow using light pink and light blue ribbon with a piece of card candi in the centre

Here is my second DT card for Brown Sugar's new challenge using an image from our other sponsor for this week

I created the base side stepper card using a Go Kreate die

The lovely paper I have used is from an 8 x 8 paper pad by First Edition, Its called Spring drop

I have used a Die-namics daisy die to create the flowers, Cheery Lynn flourish die and butterfly die, my octagon and scalloped octagon nesties, circle and scalloped circle nesties, Craftwork Cards card candi, pink and clear gems in each scallop on the octagon, a light blue feather.

My DT card for Brown Sugar

 

Here is my DT card for our new challenge over at Brown Sugar Challenges

I thought this one would be difficult for me until my daughters who both studied textiles told me that ribbon and lace are both fabrics so that's what I have added to my card

I paper pieced the lovely little outfits

The lovely papers I have used on the main card and for the paper piecing are all from a Nitwits digi collection

I used my Octagons and scalloped octagon nesties, lace and pink ribbon to create a bow

The pretty corners on the inside of the card is a new die I bought, its by La La Land and is called Filigree Corner

I used a Quickutz alphabet die set to die cut the letters Baby Girl in pink card
