Some exciting news to share with you - I am now a Sunshine Girl

Its official and I can now share some exciting news with you all

I am now a Sunshine Girl at Lacy Sunshine Challenge blog!!!

Heather very kindly offered me a place on her very talented Design Team and of course I said a very big "YES" I still can't quite believe it

If you haven't come across Lacy Sunshine Stamps or the Lacy Sunshine Challenge blog you really need to check them out, Heather is an amazing artist and her stamps are absolutely gorgeous

The new fortnightly challenge has now started and the theme is

Here is my first DT card for Lacy Sunshine

I made this easel card using Quickcutz dies, the papers are from a 6 x 6 paper pad by First Edition and the pad is called Spring drop

The green, blue and pink card is from my craft stash

The gorgeous image, which I have coloured with Copics, is a Lacy Sunshine Stamp called

Bubbles  Bedtime Story

and will be available in the Lacy Sunshine stamp store

I have used 2 sentiment digi images

Once upon a time and is by DigiSparkle and the other one is by When the scrap hits the fun

I have aso used a Marianne Design die for the easel stopper, a Joy Crafts die for the white diecut on the base of the card, Craftwork Cards card candi and a pink ribbon double bow and 2 pink feathers

My DT card for our new challenge over at Brown Sugar

Here is my DT card for our new challenge over at Brown Sugar

our challenge for you this week is 

SUMMER

We are still waiting for our summer here in the UK and have probably got a while to wait!

Here are the details for my card

I started off with a Craftwork Cards card blank and scored it in half on the top layer and folded back 
and then decorated with some patterned papers from my stash

The image, which I have coloured with Copics is called Poppi Penguin and is available in
 Bugaboo Stamps store HERE
The circle sentiment which is a clear rubber stamp from Lili of the valley

I used my Spellbinders Octagon and scalloped octagons to mat and layer the image and circle and scalloped circle dies to mat and layer the sentiment

I have also added a die cut, using a Marianne Design die, corners using Spellinders gold imperial corners one, some bakers twine and Craftwork Cards card candi

My DT card for Digi Darla's new challenge

Here is my DT card for our new challenge over at Digi Darla

My doily was made using a Cheery Lynn die called Nautical Wheeler using pearlescent brown card

I have made my card using a Go Kreate die and then cut some owl paper using the next die size down from the same set 

I coloured this gorgeous image with Copic Pens, Its called Perching Owls and is available in the Digi Darla Design Store HERE

I mat and layered the image onto a pink scalloped circle die cut before adding to the card

The sentiment circle was a freebie from Birds Cards, I cut one of the owls from the paper and added it to the centre of the sentiment circle and then added a brown spotty organza ribbon bow to finish the card off

For my easel card I used one of Ricks images which I coloured with Copics, its called Mae and is available in the store HERE

I have also used by Spellbinders Grand labels Twenty Three dies, 2 embossing folders (lattice embossalicious 8 x 8 and an A4 Embossabilities) on the black card and the red card, a Spellbinders Decorative Oval die and a piece of black and white gingham ribbon and a piece of red organza ribbon to make a double bow adding a piece of Mirri card candi in the centre

The red and black Marabou feathers were both bought from JJD Crafts at Bracknell craft show a couple of weeks ago

For the sentiment I used another Spellbinders die but I can't remember which set it was from (sorry) adding a piece of red mirri card candi to each side to finish it off
