My DT card for Digi Darla's new challenge

Here is my DT card for our new challenge over at Digi Darla

This adorable image I have used is called Dot in winter and is available in the Digi Darla stamp store HERE

which I coloured with Copics 

I followed a sketch when I made this card but can't remenber where it was from, if anyone knows please let me know

The pretty corner is a Spellbinders gold imperial die called Gold Corner set one

The papers and ribbon are from my stash and I have also used some blue gems, white pearls and Craftwork Cards card candi to finish the card off

My DT card for Lacy Sunshine

Its Sunday and time for a lovely new challenge over at Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog

Our theme as always is nice and easy and one of our favourites

Anything Goes

Please remember that your entry MUST include a stamped or digital image which you have coloured by hand.  Also, only Lacy Sunshine projects will be eligible for the main prize, though other entries still qualify for the Top Three (2 digis) and GDT spot (if you have put GDT after your name when entering).

There's a slight change this week...due to the huge amount of people requesting the free digi and not using it in the challenge, which is what it was there for, Heather is now offering a new digi each challenge which will be discounted to $2 for the duration of the challenge.  But if you purchase the discounted challenge digi and use it in the challenge the next discounted challenge digi will be FREE on request, as will the follow on digi if you use that in the challenge and so on.  There are also a lot of retiring digis for $1 each over at the Lacy Sunshine Store or, of course, you can use a Lacy Sunshine one from your own collection.

Here is the discounted digi for this challenge which is available from the Lacy Sunshine Store for $2.  Please do not email Heather to request this digi but if you wish to purchase it you can make your purchase in the same way as you usually would.  Thank you.

 

  The image I was given to play with this week is called Reginald Clam Diggin, its part of the new Gnomes on vacation collection and is now available in the Lacy Sunshine Stamp Store HERE

I coloured the image with Copic Pens

The sentiment was a freebie digi from Sentiments 4 you

The papers I have used are both digi papers from a Nitwit collection called Puddle Jumpin, the palm trees are also from a collection called Jungle Fun so I just printed them out and cut around them before sticking to the easel edges

I have actually used proper sandpaper (for decorating) to make the sand as realistic as possible 

I found some images of shells on google which I printed onto glossy photo paper and then cut them out and shaped them before sticking to my card with Pinflair glue gel

Here are the details for my card 

The gorgeous image I have used which I have coloured with Copics is by The Paper Nest Dolls and 

is available in their store HERE

I made the sentiment ticket in PSE 

The papers I have used are digital and are from Nitwits Puddle Jumpin collection

I have also used Spellbinders circle and scalloped circle nesties and a Marianne Design die to make the seaweed, then added some beautiful silver irridescnt dome peel offs to each scallop and the corners of some of the papers

I printed some shell images onto glossy paper (so they look wet) and then cut them out and stuck to my card to finish it off

Here are the details for my cards

I decided to make a stepper gatefold card using the gorgeous bear set called 

 LITTLE BEAR WINTER FUN

from StampArt Design

This adorable set has 6 bears in it and some other fabulous images too

I coloured the images in with Copics

The patterned papers I have used are from a 6 x 6 paperpack from Dovecraft, the pack is called Contemporary Christmas


I have mat and layered the papers onto black card to follow our theme

I have used Marianne Design Ornament dies to cut the baubles with gold mirri card and then added the die cuts to red pearlescent card and cut around the die cuts, I have also used labels dies for the message panel in the middle

I have added red satin ribbon to tie the front together and cut some snowflakes using white glitter card and a Cheery Lynn Snowflake set die and added them to the front of the card to finish it off

I have made an A5 card using the sketch and Penguin with balloons image which is available in the Digi Darla Store HERE

The sentiment is a Lili of the valley clear stamp which I mat and layered using Spellbinders circle and scalloped circle nesties

The papers are from my stash, the elegant corners are die cut using a La La land filgree corner die,

I have also used Die-namics dies to create the circles underneath the image and Cratwork Cards card candi in the corners to finish the card off
