Here is a bookmark I have made for our Nephew Robert who will be going back to school shortly.The image is from Karens Doodles called Summertime boy - soccer which I have coloured in with Promarkers.
I have edged the image with gold peel off fine lines before matting onto a piece of green card and added 4 green gems in the four corners.
I printed some green pinstripe paper from one of my Pink Petticoat downloads and then edged that with a gold fine line peel off and then stuck the paper onto another piece of green card. I then stuck the image at an angle on the bookmark.
I cut out Roberts name with a Quickutz alphabet and stuck the letters onto the bookmark using double sided tape, punched a hole at the top of the bookmark and threaded some eskimo wool through the hole.

Julie this is a fun image. We don't see a lot of boy projects in this crafty arena. When we do, it is always a good thing and this my dear is a really good thing! You did a wonderful job.
