Card using one of Lili of the Valley new stamps

Here is the latest card I have made. I have followed the sketch over at Lili of the valley this week and also used one of their new girly stamps. I have used two shades of purple card, one was embossed using the seeing spots Cuttlebug embossing folder and the base card is a cream.

I stamped the image using a memento ink pad and coloured the image in with Copics, then cut into a circle using my circle and scalloped nesties dies. I got the lilac ribbon from Stamposaurus at a craft show. The 6 roses (they are lilac/lavendar colour but seem to have a blue tinge in the photo) are from the 99p shop. The leaves have been cut with a Leone M punch and the handbag and shoe charms I bought off ebay.

A card for Jackie

Here is a card I have made for my friend Jackie, its her birthday on 28th June, Happy Birthday Jackie.

I decided to make a circle easel card using a cd as a template and followed the sketch over at Sweet Shop Sketches.

The dotty and stripey backing papers are digi papers from Cuddly Buddly called patchwork orange, the image is a Karens Doodles image coloured in with Promarkers. I then added some glitterations around the edges of the image and backing papers. I have faux stitched on the orange card using a scorbug and then went over the dots with a brown marvey le plume fin tip pen. I have used a Martha Stewart punch on the bottom of stripey paper, added the name Jackie in peel offs and Happy birthday and a balloon. I thought these colours are really summery.

For the stopper I have used an orange Prima flower with a punched stamen in the centre and a Craftwork Cards piece of pearlescent orange card candy on top.

I have also added some lime green and orange pearlescent card candy around the edge of the circle.

A card for Malcolm

Here is a card for Malcolm who is very keen on Bowls. I saw the decoupage sheet at a craft show and knew it was perfect to make a card for him.

I have made a front panel side step card as the base and used some backing paper from the You're never too old craft cd.

The decoupage was die cut already for me so I just had to make up the layers up and add to the card and then added the sentiment.

I have made the base of the easel card with purple card which is Olivia's favourite colour.

I have also used a Marianne Creatables Die and a Martha Stewart lace doily punch. I have used a scalloped circle nestie and a normal circle nestie too.
The ribbon was from my craft stash as were the purple roses and the leaves have been cut using a Leone M punch.
I have also attached two metal charms to the image, a watering can and a trowel using Pinflair.

Anniversary card for Ju & Rich

Here is a card I have made for my friend Ju and her hubby Rich for their 22nd Wedding Anniversary on 17th June, Congratulations Ju & Rich what an achievement in this day and age.

I have made an easel card base using red card. The two backing papers I have used are digi papers from Nitwit Collections, which I have matted onto red card before sticking to the main card.

The image is a rubber stamp from Lili of the Valley which I have coloured in with Copics. I have used a Marianne Creatables die to cut the swirls and used one of her leafy dies to cut the leaves on the bottom section. I can't remember where I got the roses as I have had them stored in the garage for ages. I have also added some Craftwork card candy in pearlescent red, 3 of them on the top left hand corner and 3 on the right hand side of the bottom section. I used a Martha Stewart punch on some red card and added some glitterations to create the stopper.

Happy Father's Day card

Here is the card I have made for my Dad for Father's Day. I have had to make it now as he lives in France and I want to make sure he gets it in time. Its a step card but with a whole front panel. I started off with a piece of card at 6 inches by 11 inches and cut a line 1 inch in from both sides between1 inch mark and 6.5 inch mark and then scored at 1 inch, 2 inch, and 6.5 inch on both sides and only scored in the centre of the card at 5.5 inches only, hope that makes sense.

The image is a Lili of the valley stamp which I have coloured in with Promarkers. I have edged the image and papers with Glitterations. I have printed some Pink Petticoat pinstripes backing paper and some dotty backing paper both in Air force blue and edged with the Glitterations . I have added a metal charm Hammer to the image before sticking down onto the main card. I have then used Craftwork Cards Candi and stuck onto card with Pinflair.
