Wow where has the last fortnight gone, how fast time goes!
This is my DT card for our challenge over at Pennys this fortnight. I just loved this adorable image!
Its a nice easy challenge this fortnight as anything goes and we have 3 sponsors too, so come over and join in HERE.
Our sponsors for this fortnight are
and
I made the card base using a large Go Kreate Scalloped circle die, added some black gingham paper cut using a Go Kreate plain circle die and then cut and scored to create a side step card.
The adorable image is called BooBoo Bee by Stitchy Bear Stamps, one of our sponsors, which has been coloured with the following Copic Pens C00, E42, Y13 and 100.
I mat and layered the image onto a black lacey circle Marianne Creatables diecut and added some Prima flowers using Card Candi in the centres. I am not sure why the flowers look a bit lime greenish but they are definitely yellow. I have also used Marianne Creatables flourish dies for the flourishes.
I used a lovely free circle sentiment digi stamp by the wonderful Annette and cut using spellbinders circle and scalloped circles dies. I have also added some irridescent glitter to his wings.
I am entering this card into the following challenges

Hi Julie. I love your sweet card, and the lovely shape, but what caught my eye was the sentiment. Although you've given the credit to Lili of the Valley, it is actually one of my freebies. Of course I love that you've used it, and I am honoured to see it on your card, but I'd also love if you could correct the reference and put a linky to my blog so that people can grab it for themselves too, along with dozens of others that I offer for free. If you've forgotten where it came from, I've put a linky to my freebies here and my blog addy is http://nettyscards.blogspot.co.uk. Thanks so much for sharing your card.
