My DT card for Digi Darla's new challenge

Here is my DT card for our new challenge over at Digi Darla
Our theme for you this week is

Use a Doily

We hope you will join in with this challenge and look forward to seeing all your entries so head on over to the challenge blog HERE to add your creations and to see what the rest of the team have made to inspire you

One lucky winner will win 5 images from Digi Darla's designs and if you use a DD image add DD with your link and you'll be entered into a second drawing for 3 more images

My doily was made using a Cheery Lynn die called Nautical Wheeler using pearlescent brown card

I have made my card using a Go Kreate die and then cut some owl paper using the next die size down from the same set

I coloured this gorgeous image with Copic Pens, Its called Perching Owls and is available in the Digi Darla Design Store HERE

I mat and layered the image onto a pink scalloped circle die cut before adding to the card

The sentiment circle was a freebie from Birds Cards, I cut one of the owls from the paper and added it to the centre of the sentiment circle and then added a brown spotty organza ribbon bow to finish the card off

I am entering this card into the following challenges

Digi Haven Use a digi
Inspire me Fridays Anything Goes
Sister Act  Anything Goes
Craft Lovin Anything Goes
Crafty Calendar Things with wings
So Artful Owl
Opus Gluei Wings

Thanks for looking

  7. Well, you were on a roll with the WINGS theme, weren't you? I'm so glad you submitted this too! It's adorable, I love all of it. But let me give some individual shout outs. The papers are delightful, love the owls and I think the die cut doily is really cool, love that you have it slightly askew, that is a nice, understated touch. It really sets off the central motif - those adorable owls!

Thanks so much for taking on the WINGS theme, looks like you enjoyed yourself and made some beautiful cards to boot!
