My DT card for Digi Choosday - Use some Embossing

Here is my card

My embossing is dry, it's one of the Embossalicous folders from  Crafters Companion, it's a 6 x 6  called Bird Houses which I thought would go perfectly the the beautiful coloured owl image called Hats Off Twiggy from Polkdadoodles, the collection is called Twiggy and Toots and is available as a full digi dowwnload, CD and the image is available singly in the Polkadoodles Digi Download store HERE

The paper, gingham bows and flowers are also in the collection

My DT card for Digi Choosday - Tag it!

I decided to make a card using my Sizzix large tag die and some Kraft card, I am really into Kraft  at the moment as you can tell from my previous posts

The perfect digi download to go with Kraft card has to be the delightful Twiggy and Toots full download collection (also available on CD) which I have used for the coloured images, digi bows, sentiment ticket and gorgeous dotty paper

The owl images are also available singly in the Digi Download Store

My Birthday cards for Freya and Olivia

I needed to make an 18th birthday card for my daughter Freya and one for her best friend Olivia. I have been dying to use the new Twiggy and Toots Digi Download 
and I thought this image was perfect to add a 1 and 8 to in the balloons

The coloured image, cute little digi heart buttons and both gorgeous papers are from the Twiggy and Toots full digi download, its great that you can download the collection straight away and can get crafting immediately but if you are patient and would prefer the collection on CD it'savailable at Polkadoodles Store

My DT card for Digi Choosday

Fathers Day/Male card

I decided to make a shaped card this week using Polkadoodles Winston Digi Download, this image is called Gone Fishing and is available, in outline only, singly in the Digi Download store HERE

On the CD and in the download there is also a coloured version which is what I have used here

The spotty kraft paper, buttons, Gone Fishing sign and sentiment are also from the Winston digi download/CD, I used Gathered Twigs distress ink around the edges of the paper

I think Winston is perfect for male cards

I used my Go Kreate dies to cut the image and brown card to match the base card and added brown gingham ribbon along the centre of the card and tied a knot rather than a bow

My DT creation for Digi Choosday

I made a Gift box card for our challenge using Kraft card for my base card and box inside and used the fabulous Winston Full Download collection from Polkadoodles for the wonderful image which is called Splish Splash and the beautiful patterned kraft papers, which are also available on the Winston CD. The tag in the centre section has white on the reverse to add my message

Its all about Purple for our challenge at Digi Choosday this week

Here is my pretty in purple box

 

 

It's a pizza box style box, made using A3 card

The gorgeous image is called Cinders and it's from Work and Play 9 Love and Kisses download, also available on a CD and singly as an outline image HERE

The polka dot paper is from the same Download and the other purple pattermed paper is from Dollie Goes East Download/CD

I have used my nesties to cut a scalloped oval and oval for the image, some darker backing card to mat and layer, some pretty purple polka dot ribbon and some card candi in the centre of the 2 bows

The sentiment is one I have had for ages, I believe it was a Digi Darla sentiment

 Here is my project for the challenge, its a slider box card, when you open the box drawer a pop out secret message panel pops out at the top 

The gorgeous image I have used,  is called Winston Bear Etty Mailbox and is from the Winston Deluxe Full download collection, which is also available as a Craft CD too

The pretty kraft papers are also included in the Download/CD as well as many gorgeous patterned papers

The image is available as a single digi download HERE in the Winston Bear Collection section

I have made my bow out of the same patterned paper using a Sue Wilson Itty Bitty Bow die and added 4 brown pearls to the image panel adding a piece of ribbon to allow you to pull the drawer out

Yay I am now back creating for Digi Choosday

I am delighted to now be back creating for Digi Choosday

Thank you to Nikky Hall all the team for being patient with me, allowing me to take some time off to recover from my two operations and the subsequent problems with my arm

I have made a circle spinner card using the adorable image called Octavia Rose Garden in the centre, which is available on the Octavia Moonfly CD and Digi Download bundle in both outline and coloured, and as an individual image, in outline only, in the Digi Download store HERE

The lovely flower paper I have used, and the flower which I have double layered, are also from the Digi Download bundle

The flower spins all the way around the card in the channel which has a mirri backing as I find whatever you add on to the Pennies spin better that way

My DT card for Digi Choosday's last minute xmas card

Last Minute Christmas

I have made this stepper easel card for this challenge as I love to combine the two techniques. I have written up the measurements I used if anyone wants them, just let me know. You can make 2 cards out of 1 sheet of A3 card.

Everything I have used on this card is from the wonderful Polkadoodles Festive Hollybobs Download collection, which is also available as a CD for those of you who are happy to wait for a physical CD  to arrive in the post

The main image, patterned paper and bottom border is on one of the design sheets, the cracker, holly and lamp posts are under the embellishment section

The paper on the base of the card is from the backing paper section

I have also decoupaged the holly on the cracker and added a message panel using Spellbinders oval and scalloped oval nesties

My DT Creation for Digi Choosday's xmas decoration challenge

The gorgeous paper, adorable penguins and tree images are all from the wonderful Polkadoodles Festive Hollybobs Download collection, which is also available as a CD for those of you who are happy to wait for a physical CD  to arrive in the post.

I flipped the same image horizontally for the 2nd penguin so it looks like they are having a snowball fight and then cut a snowflake border with a Memory Box die to go around the lid and some vellum for the windows so the LED tealight shows through

I have added a photo taken at night as the day photo does not show the tealight very well

I used a fabulous tutorial to make this gift bag from Annette of Nettys Cards - tutorial HERE

I have used the gorgeous poinsettia paper from the Festive Hollybobs Download to make my bag,  the image is called Hollybobs Presents and is availably singly from the store HERE or in the download collection and also on the Festive Hollybobs CD
The bow and the sentiment are also included in the download and CD

I then just finished the bag off with some bakers twine and some pretty edging at the bottom of the bag using my Martha Stewart punch

 I always associate the colour brown with winter, when the leaves have all fallen from the trees and we are just left with the brown branches and trunks which is why I chose to use brown

It's all about Lace over at Digi Choosday this week

Here is my DT card for our new challenge at Digi Choosday Challenges

Our theme for this fortnight is 

Lace

I don't do any sewing so had no lace at home but remembered seeing some beautiful faux lace on the Rose Budd full collection download so was pleased to be able to use that 

The gorgeous paper I have used is actually one of the inserts in the download which I resized and then added the faux lace onto the patterned paper in PSE before printing

The gorgeous image available as coloured and outline only is called Constanceas is included in this download
Constance can be bought as a clear stamp too

The ticket is from the Rose Budd download too, there are loads of tickets, as well as sentiments
