Happy Birthday Ju
This is the birthday card I made for my friend Ju who's birthday is today
Happy Birthday Ju
I have scored lines to create embossed diamond shapes on the lilac card and stuck a lilac gem on each join. The image is a Lili of the Valley and comes as a square, I cut out with my large scalloped square nestie and matted onto some darker purple card also cut out with the large scalloped nestie.
The main flower has been made using a Nellie Snellen punch and then the Nellie Snellen embossing punch and a clear gem in the centre. The other flowers are made using 2 sizes of X-Cut daisy punches and lilac gems in the centre.
I have used Anita's glitterations to create a border around both pieces of the lilac card. I have used silver peel offs to create the sentiment.
I have added a photo showing the side of the card as well as the one underneath which shows the card from the front.

First taste of snow
Here is another xmas card. I have used Sandra's fabulous template to make the centre step card Which can be found here. I used the template exactly as it is but I might try to adapt it to make some bigger cards with the same folds.
The image is a Karens Doodles Digi stamp called First taste of snow which I have coloured in with Promarkers. I then cut out with my circle and scalloped circle nesties, added silver peel offs to each scallop and added crystal stickles to the falling snow.
The papers are from a pack of Dovecraft 8 x 8 papers called Christmas Blues. I have added silver glitterations to the edges of all the cut backing paper before sticking to the card, then added some irridescent ribbon to the bottom with a matching bow.

The image is a Karens Doodles called Bigsby gift which I have coloured in with Promarkers, then cut using my circle nestie and cut a piece of card to layer onto with my scalloped circle nesties then added a peel off to each scallop.
The backing papers are all from a pack by Craft Too, I have edged the papers with gold fine line peel offs before adding to a piece of card. I have added pink gems in the top right hand corner and the bottom right hand corner. The daisies have been made using 2 sizes of X-Cut punches and a peel off in the centre of each. A cute little baby gift box
Here is a cute little baby gift box I have made with a little baby shoe inside. The shoe has been made using pink gingham paper, gems and silver peel offs.
I have made it as an exploding box with three layers. On the upper layer I have added the letters GIRL one letter on each square.
On the next layer I have added some pink gingham paper, with a piece of white lace stuck towards the top of each square and then I added a peel off baby item that I have stuck onto pink card and then cut around.
The bottom layer has white paper with pink spots on it again with a little lace on each square and then I have added some little baby sayings onto pink card and using decorative scissors to cut the wording out and then I stuck onto the base layer.
I have added photos of each layer so you can see each layer in detail before sticking the layers together to form the exploding box.
I have added some spotty ribbon around the edges of the lid. The image on top is called Peekaboo Girl and is available at Karens Doodles I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and then added some die cuts in each corner of the top of the lid.
I have left the centre square blank so I can add the baby details once its been born.

Hope you recover soon Michelle
Here is a card I have made for my Hubby's secretary Michelle as she has had a little accident. She was standing on a chair and fell off breaking her foot and gaining a few bumps and bruises so I made a card to cheer her up.
The image is a Dustin Pike digi image called Ouch dragon. I have also mirrored the image so I could put them back to back. The image has been coloured in with Promarkers. I used a piece of pink A4 card to make this stepper card.
The wording has been die cut using my Cuttlebug Olivia Alphabet. The actual message says Michelle Don't stand on chairs, I have also added elaborate corners in the front, they have been die cut using a Cuttlebug die.I have also added the word ouch on both sides.
I got a piece of invisable thread and stuck between the 2 images and then stuck the other ends on each side, The dragon can actually flip over so making it a fun card to hopefully cheer her up.
Hope you recover soon Michelle

My latest Project
This is my latest project. I applied for the free template over at Cards etc challege to make this lovely flower fold card. You have to commit to entering the challenge with the card you make with the template and have until 10th November to enter.
I have used the patterned paper from a 12 x 12 Papermania paper pad called temptations and die cut the large daisy flower (with three layers) on the front using a Sizzix daisy die and finished with a sparkly gem in the middle and stuck onto the front with a 3d foam pad. I also added Anita's silver glitterations around the patterned paper.
Inside I have used the same paper edged with glitterations on the octagon. I added 3 flowers and leaves cut using Marianne Design dies and added a gem in each, I also added the glitteration letter T to start the word Thankyou. On the petals I have cut the glitterations into small stitch size around the edges of the petals to create faux stitching. I have also added a letter onto each petal to spell out Thank you.
The image is a Karens Doodles digistamp which I have coloured in with Promarkers, I have added faux stitching around the image and then added glitterations around the edge of the image to create a frame then added the two 3d peel off butterflies.
If you haven't seen this before all you need is three of the same butterfly peel off, cut the antennae off two of them, the one that still has the antennae goes in the centre, bend the wings upwards and stick the right hand side of one of the others onto the sticky left hand side of the centre butterfly and then add the left hand side of the other butterfly to the sticky right hand side of the centre butterfly. You can then stick down onto your project with the remaining sticky sides. Hope that makes sense.

Card from Riley the dog for Zara
My stepmum also wanted me to make a card from their dog Riley for Zara as they have a great bond with each other so here is what I came up with.
The give a dog a bone backing paper is from a Nitwits collection called Farley Friends
The kennel and dog are also from the same collection. I added the name Riley with gold peel off letters on the kennel sign to personalise it a bit.
I then resized the photo of them both together and also the kennel image and cut out with my circle and scalloped circle nesties. I then added gold peel off spots to the scallops to give a collar type effect.
I die cut two elegant corners using a Cuttlebug Elegant corner die. Die cut the number 1 from the Olivia Cuttlebug alphabet. I have used 3d foam pads to stick the image and the photo onto the card and then used a shaper tool to give the dog some dimension and stuck to the card with pinflair glue gel.
I added gold fine line peel offs around the edge of the backing paper and added a message and two paw prints on the base of the card using 3d foam pads.
I hope Brenda is happy with it and that Zara likes it too. Happy 1st Birthday Zara

The flowers have been made using Marianne Design dies, cut and embossed with a gem in the middle of each.

The backing papers are all 8 x 8 papers from the Papermania Basics pastel colossal paper pack. I have used my Martha Stewart Lace Doily punch on the bottom of one of them. The flowers have been made by me using 3 Nellie Snellen punches. I have the two petal cutting punch and then put the petals into the embossing punch and glued 3 sets of 2 petals together to form each flower. I then stuck the stamen punched from the third Nellie Snellen punch into the centre and added a pearl in the centre of each flower. I have stuck them on the card with 3d foam. A new fold for me
This is a new fold for me, its a type of double easel card as the front bit is also upright.
I had not seen this done before. I got the tutorial on the Joanna Sheen Newsletter but here is a direct link Tutorial here This wonderful fold has been been designed by the wonderfully talented Sheila Weaver. I altered the sizes a little bit but like how easy it all goes together and yet folds flat for postage. A great idea Sheila, thanks for the inspiration.
I have used my Bigsby wreath digi image from Karens Doodles which I have coloured in with Promarkers. I have also used the grid technique on the green card underneath the image to give a little dimension. I have used my new beaded circle nestie die to cut the red card behind the image. I then added silver glitter peel offs and 7 glittered snowflakes cut using my Martha Stewart Snowflake punch on the card and finished off with silver Happy Christmas peel offs.
The challenge over at Karens Doodles challenge blog was to add 7 somethings to your card. I wasn't sure if they would count the 7 baubles on the wreath as its part of the image so I have added the 7 glitter card snowflakes to be on the safe side.

Rich's Birthday Card
Here is a card I have made for my friend Julies hubby Rich who is a fireman. I bought the decoupage some time ago but wanted to make a card that was a little different.
The papers are from two Pink Petticoat downloads called Pinstripes and lots of dots.
I made the card using an A4 piece of card and cut to 297mm x 15cm.
With the long side at the top I scored down 5cm from the 6cm mark, 10cm down from the 12cm mark and then I scored upwards to 10cm mark from 18cm mark and scored up 5cm from 24cm mark.
The using a craft knife I cut between the score lines. I hope that makes sense but if not please email me and I can try an explain another way.
Ideally I would have done everything divisable by 5cm but wouldn't have been able to fit the decoupage on the front of the card.

The image is from Karens Doodles called Summertime boy - soccer which I have coloured in with Promarkers.
I have edged the image with gold peel off fine lines before matting onto a piece of green card and added 4 green gems in the four corners.
I printed some green pinstripe paper from one of my Pink Petticoat downloads and then edged that with a gold fine line peel off and then stuck the paper onto another piece of green card. I then stuck the image at an angle on the bookmark.
I cut out Roberts name with a Quickutz alphabet and stuck the letters onto the bookmark using double sided tape, punched a hole at the top of the bookmark and threaded some eskimo wool through the hole.
I am entering the bookmark into the following challenge

Louise's Birthday Card
Here is the card I have made for my Sister Louise's Birthday which is on 28th August, Happy Birthday Louise !!!!
Louise loves cooking and is a fantastic cook so I thought I would make a cooking themed card for her. I have used my chef lofty rubber stamp which I have coloured in with Promarkers.
I have cut some red card using my Punch around the page Martha Stewart punch, stuck some gold pearlescent paper on top after rounding the corners off first. I stuck the image onto some red card (again with the corners rounded off) and layered that on top using 3d foam pads.
I cut out the measuring spoons, rolling pin, apron and baking sheet, cookies and spatula from gold card using my Ellison thin cut dies, then stuck these onto the base card with 3d foam pads.
I added the name Louise using gold peel offs to finish the card off.
I am entering this card into the following challenges
