A card for my Dad's 70th Birthday
I have been busy over the last week making my Dad's 70th birthday card, he will be 70 on 28th April, Happy Birthday Dad
I decided I wanted to add a few photos to the card, one of him as a little boy, one in his teenage/twenties and one as he is now so I ended up with a very long shaped card.
I made 5 circle swing cards and joined them together, then added two patterns of paper both from Pink Petticoat downloads, 1 spots and the other stripes to the base of each card, I then cut 5 circles using my nesties and big shot and stuck these to swing circle part.
Netty has kindly made lots of free circle sentiments and I have used her 70th Birthday one on the front circle and cut the word Dad with my Cuttlebug Olivia Alphabet dies and stuck these on with double sided tape.
On the second page I have added a photo of my Dad as a little boy and added a car and a lorry metal charm to each circle and stuck these on with foam pads, I have added the words Oh what a cutie onto some white card and cut out one of the fancy tags from a Spellbinders set.
On the next page is a picture of my Dad in his navy days which I have shaped into a circle, again using my nesties. I have added a ships wheel and an anchor onto two blue circles to this page and again added some words and stuck onto a different fancy tag spellbinder diecut.
The next page is a photo of my Dad out in France where he lives now. I have also added 3 metal charms to this page, a trowel, watering can and a tree as he now has a garden with loads of fruit trees and also grows veg in the garden and again added some words to a fancy tag.
The next page is just to give a little bit of fun, its a digital stamp called Albert from Just Inklined which I have coloured in with Promarkers, adding some more words to another fancy tag.
The last page just has our birthday message on it, printed onto white card then cut using labels 17 Spellbinders die which I then matted onto a blue die cut from the same die set.
I sent it just before the Bank Holidays so I hope it gets to him in time.

A Forever Friends Spin a Disc step card
Another card from me, I must be getting my mojo back, hooray!!
Here is a Forever Friends, Spin a disc, step card. I have added both photos so that you can see that the disc on the right hand side actually spins around, I have added peel offs and card candy to the disc. I have also added silver peel off corners to the corners of the spin a disc piece and fine line peel offs around the cut out too.
The paper is a download for Pink Petticoat, the embossing has been done with a Forever Friends embossing folder. The pink ribbon with white dots is a Woodware product which I bought from Stamposaurus at the Ally Pally craft show. The pretty border at the bottom is a Border Die from X-cut called Margaret. I have added some fine line peel offs along the top of the die cut.
The Forever Friends bear is from a decoupage pack I have had to ages, I have stuck this onto the card with Pinflair. I think that covers everything.

An easter card
Here is a card I made using the lovely Warren images from Craftwork cards. I cut A4 card down to 28 x 21 and then measured 6.5 cm in from top left hand side on 21 cm edge and 6.5cm from right hand bottom edge and cut between the two marks, then scored each piece at 7cm, 14cm and 21cm so there are four sections all measuring 7cm.
I then decorated the pieces with some 6 x 6 craft papers and interlocked the 2 pieces as shown in the 2nd photo.
I then cut 2 circles to create semi circles and decorated these with Craftwork cards candy along the front.
The sentiment is a stamp from Lili of the valley which I then cut with my nesties and layered onto orange card and stuck on the right hand side of the card and then stuck the image on the right hand side.
The card folds flat for posting but has dimension when pulled out.

A card at last
Last weekend I went to Ally Pally and had some great fun buying some lovely craft bits hoping I can get some of my creativity back after my recent dose of crafters block.
I was lucky enough to meet Jacqui Dennis at the Lili of the Valley stand and she had made an amazing card using Lili of the Valley's amazing stamps, I have quite few of these by the way. I contacted her afterwards to ask if she had made the card blank herself or is she had bought it already made, she was kind enough to come back with a link to where she had bought them from but they seemed very expensive to me so I thought I would try and make a card blank myself using card and a x-cut border scallop punch, I know it hasn't got the scallops up the sides like Jacqui's does but I don't think it looks too bad. If you have not seen Jacqui's blog yet Check it out here and Here is the card she had made
Using Jacqui's card as inspiration I did my own version. The stamp is called Together Forever and has been coloured in with Promarkers, the flowers have been punched out with X-cut daisy punches which I have added 3mm gems into the centre of. The pink ribbon with white dots is from Stamposaurus but I think it is made by Woodware. The swirly bits are cut with Marianne Design dies and the butterfly is from an X-cut punch.
I am really looking forward to the Lili of the Valley colouring masterclass on 22nd May where Jacqui and Bev will be sharing their fantastic colouring tips using Copics and Promarkers, I really need help on shading using these pens.
Thanks again Jacqui for letting me use your fantastic card design as inspiration x

A fishing themed birthday card
Here is a birthday card I made for my friend Sharon whose Dad is going to be 65.
I used an A4 piece of card scored in half, used some Forever friends backing paper which I matted onto some brown paper and used some Forever friends decoupage on top.
I cut out the word DAD and 65 with my Cuttlebug Olivia alphabet die set and stuck to the card.
I sent if off to her yesterday so I hope she likes it.

Mothers Day card for my Mum
Here is the card I have made for my Mum for Mothers Day. I used an A4 sheet of card cut down to 297mm x 200mm and scored in half length ways and then scored 100mm in from the left and 100mm in from the right and then scored the left and right hand square diagonally to make the twisted easel parts at both ends and scored the centre part horizontally. I used pretty papers from a Cute Companions A5 paper pack and matted onto silver mirri card. The chipboard shape on each easel part is from the Cute Companions Chipboard pack which I stuck on with PVA.
The chipboard word Mum was matted onto a nestibility labels die cut and added to card with foam pads to hold the greeting which are just silver peel off letters. The easel parts are held upright by 3 white pearls at each end.
I am entering this card into the following challenge as I need to get back to entering some so I might conquer by crafters block

I'm back again and will be posting a couple of cards later today
I am so sorry that I have not posted anything for a couple of months, after my Husbands Father passed away in January we have had a very strange time and I have suffered from crafters block but I have made a couple of cards this week, one for my mum for Mothers Day and one for a friend who wanted me to make a fishing themed card for her Fathers 65th birthday. I will post both of them later on today. Thanks for looking x
