Tomorrow is my daughter Freya's 12th birthday (Happy Birthday Freya!) so I have combined a couple of challenges to come up with this card for her. I have followed the fantastic sketch from the Just Magnolia challenge blog which can be found here
http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/2009/06/week-8-sketch-by-rach.html and the colour challenge at Stampin for the weekend challenge which can be found here http://stampinfortheweekend.blogspot.com/2009/06/its-launch-dayand-first-challenge.html which this week was Purple and Yellow. Sorry the photo looks more like blue than purple but it definitely is purple that I have used. I am also entering it into A spoonful of sugars challenge http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/ which was to have butterflies somewhere on your project.
The image is a Magnolia stamp called Tilda with lilacs which I have coloured with my Prisma pencils and cut out and layered with my circle nestabililies. The sentiment is a stamp by Cuddly Buddly cut out with nesties. The butterflies are cut from the new X-cut butterfly punch and finished off with gems, the Daisies have been punched out with X-cut daisy punches finished off with purple gems in the middle. The purple ribbon with hearts on it is from a cheap packet of ribbons I bought from The Range and the backing papers are form Papermania pad.
Thanks for looking x
Oh this is gorgeous, Julie! Stunning, hun! Purple and yellow are the 2 colours that I just can't seem to work with. Such a shame, cuz they're delish! I love everything about this card, it is FAB, you clever thing! Hugs, Sem x

oh what a perfect image to use Julie, I love lilacs, shame they don't last all summer long on a tree, but they smell so pretty. Love all the butterflies and flowers you've added around the image, and your coloring is superb. Fabulous job on a fab card.
